Maxine began her career over 24 years ago as a Music Therapist supporting people of all ages who have disabilities.
Maxine works with people who are diagnosed with physical &/or cognitive disabilities including:
- Autism Spectrum Disorders
- Brain Injury
- Developmental Delay
- Mental Health
- Pervasive Developmental Disorders
- Cerebral Palsy
- Muscular Dystrophy
- Spinal Muscular Atrophy
Maxine is grateful to have a beautiful loving daughter. Being the mother of a person with a disability informs and brings many joys and challenges. Maxine presented a workshop at a conference for The Canadian Association Of Music Therapy about the challenges that parents can feel and the best ways to advocate and support ourselves, our children and our families.
